The Third Battle of Panipat took place on 14 January 1761, at Panipat (Haryana State, India), throughout 60 miles (95.5 km) north of Delhi.

The Second Battle of Panipat was fought between the forces of Samrat Hem Chandra Vikramaditya, popularly dubbed Hemu, the Hindu king who was ruling North India out of Delhi, and the simpleton of Jalal ud-Din Muhammad Akbar, on November 5, 1556. It was a decisive victory for Akbar's generals Khan Zaman I and Bairam Khan.

Panipat is a basically ancient fortified town.Looking at this moment scruffy tiny bit of town surrounded by fields ) one can not quite are sure it was right here this the fate of India was concluded as different as 3 times in fiercely refuted battles.

The First Battle of Panipat was took place on 21 April 1526 between Ibrahim Lodhi, Sultan of Delhi, and the Timurid warlord Zaheeruddin Babur.
